Wedding Planning Advice | Bridal Prep Must-Haves

You have completed all the planning. and the big day is finally almost here.

All you have left to do now is get some sleep (read: 2 hours of sleep… because who can actually sleep when its the night before your wedding and you are sharing a bed with your best friend/maid of honor who happens to be a sheet hog/champion leg sprawler but you love her anyways), get ready, and enjoy.

Adding a little bit of thought into what you bring along with you to get ready on your wedding day can help make the morning a more relaxing, enjoyable morning. Why not spend a little extra time gathering a few special details to make the morning extra special and start the day off right.

I. ESSENTIALS

Pack a bag with your essentials- don’t forget to bring along a little kit of emergency essentials with hairpins, extra hairspray, medicine, sewing kits, some super glue, etc as you never know what might need last minute repair. Also try to remember to swap out your plastic hanger from the dress shop with something more beautiful to compliment your gown. Also essential but not pictured- all of your bridal details- from your jewelry to your invitation suite to your shoes, make sure they are all packed and ready for your photographer.

II. SOMETHING TO WEAR

Pack a little something pretty to wear while you have your hair/makeup done. You will be photographed during this time, and we can take a few portraits after you are completed with hair/makeup with your bridal bouquet. You will want something that comes off easily to ensure your hair/makeup stay intact.

III. PLAN TIME TO REFLECT

It very. very. very. hard to take a few minutes to yourself on your wedding day, but this is always one of the little luxuries that if planned as a priority, you won’t regret.
