Stones and Flowers Retreat, Rustic Woodland Wedding Styled Shoot | Santa Cruz Wedding Photography

A while back I happened upon Stones and Flowers online and fell instantly in love with this venue. Such a peaceful, unique location nestled amongst the trees. The grounds are used as a retreat center, and consist of a large barn custom built by the venue which is surrounded by treehouse style cabins. The unique barn is what really drew me in, but once we entered the grounds I fell in love with this space.

In putting together the details for this styled photoshoot I knew I wanted a combination of primarily rustic details juxtaposed with some soft feminine accents. I wanted this shoot to have some very unique details with just the right amount of quirkiness to them. I am always drawn to textures and between all of the natural cotton, the kale bouquet, and that blush Tara LaTour gown, I think we really brought together some unique textures for this shoot.
