Rancho Nicasio Fall Wedding | Nicasio Wedding Photographer

Occassionally I will second shoot for other wedding photographers on weekends when I don’t have weddings of my own. It is such a refreshing way to experience a wedding day with a much smaller amount of pressure in comparison to being the primary photographer.  I don’t do it often because photographing my own weddings with couples who are all mine is my number one favorite thing, but I have ot say it is a nice change of pace every once in a while to assist another photographer. I love seeing how other photographers work, I love that I can be a little more experimental since the presure isn’t all on me to capture the key shots, and I love that I get to edit just a handful of favorites for myself instead of the usual sorting/editing hundreds-thousands of images.

I have never done a blog post with images form second shooting (I don’t think??) and I rarely post second shooting images anywhere, since  I try to stick with focusing on posting photos from my own wedding clients, but I really loved how all of the images from this Rancho Nicasio wedding turned out, and wanted to share! Lucy + Brad put lots of care into the details of their day and they were really a pleasure to have the opportunity to photograph.
