I am starting a new series in my blog. This series shall henceforth be known as “Ugly Ginny: Creepy Photographers Making Weird Faces Next to Gorgeous Brides”. I’d like to think it is self explanitory.

Just to be clear, I am a professional.

I behave professionally in all respects on a wedding day. Moreso, I promise I don’t walk around looking like this on a wedding day.

See? I am a normal-looking person…. right? Just so you see that I am not actually a creep… here’s how I normally appear…

However, it has come to my attention that throughout a wedding day,  my second shooters seem to end up capturing some pretty good ‘gems’ of me. Because I have no shame (perhaps I should?) I of course didn’t want to WASTE these beauties. I started collecting them in a folder I named “Ugly Ginny”, mostly for my own entertainment.

 

…Until I realized my shame needed to be shared with the world. “Damn this camera bag is heavy face”, “Is that the coordinator coming over to tell us to hurry up face”, and “Time to look like a mackeral face” must be set free. These faces are best enhanced when placed next to a gergeous bride, and made even worse by comparison.

 

This first one is out of focus… but I think it adds to the mystique..

 

Frightened for the bouquet’s safety?

For the love of god, LEAVE THE BOUQUETS ALONE!
