I first met Emily through Kinsley James Couture Bridal. She purchased a gown during a trunk show at which they were giving away a handful of photography gift vouchers for portrait sessions from me. I am SO happy that she purchased her dress that weekend, because otherwise I would not have been able to be a part of this wonderful day. Emily already had a wedding photographer booked, but ended up switching to me – such an honor to find that she valued photography (specifically, my photography) so much to take this big step. These two could not be sweeter together. They shared a ‘blind’ first look, since they wanted to be able to share a moment together before the ceremony with still keeping DJ’s first glance of Emily a surprise. DJ handmade the chuppah under which the two spoke their vows, which was followed by a family style dinner and tearful toasts.
