Amanda and Ben were married on their 9 year anniversary! Yes, these two have been together forever (said in true Sandlot fashion’ foooooreeeeever’). Ok, maybe 9 years isn’t forever, but as someone who got married also on my 9 year anniversay, I know how long 9 years can feel. These two have already had nearly a decade of commitment to one another. From talking with them, I remember talking with these guys about how they started dating. How Amanda ‘stalked’ Ben at her high school, and how in his senior year she wrote in his yearbook and the two have been dating ever since.
This day was such a pleasure. It is rare to have a day where everything goes so well. The October weather felt like summer with warm sunlight and a gentle breeze. There were so many genuine, loving moments for me to capture- such big, real smiles. Happy tears. Belly laughs. Immense dance-party-skills (even grandma had some intense moves). We had SO much portrait time. We got to walk Ben + Amanda by ourselves to the church for the ceremony after their portraits together. These two laugh a lot together, and it is no secret that they fit so well with one another.
I just adore these two and the moments we were able to witness between the two of them and their friends and family. Ben and Amanda thank you so much for not only sharing your day with us but for really opening up and letting us capture such honest moments.
Mike created so many beautiful images at this wedding,, but below was my favorite.
